| A truly rare find! Hattie Carnegie vintage commercial
perfume bottle with contents and original sticker! This bottle is for
the perfume "Jeune Fille", name sake to Hattie's department
store/boutique on 49th Street in Manhattan, NYC.
The contents are concentrated and can be diluted if
you would like to wear it. You need to find the proper alcohol or oil
for that. Do not use regular alcohol, it will ruin it. The scent is
wonderful!
For the sake of not damaging the sticker, I did not wash the bottle. It is fairly clean but does have some dust.
There are no chips, cracks or any problems. The topper with the likeness of Hattie Carnegie is the original and correct size.
This gorgeous bottle was conceived by Tommi Parsinger and made by Wheaton Glass Co., featured on page 37 of Madeleine Marsh's book "Perfume Bottles, A Collector's Guide". It has gold enamel accents and the name "Hattie Carnegie" is raised.
I have researched for hours on the web and could not
find another bottle exactly like this, mint condition, with contents
and original label or even the same scent for that matter. One of these
bottles has sold for over $900.00 according to Kovel's website.
Hattie Carnegie started her perfume line in 1925.
Bottle is 3" wide, 3 3/8" tall and 1 1/2" deep.
